Materials You Don’t Really Need, But …
Mixing in Math is designed to be used with materials most after-schools have on hand such as markers, scrap paper, and a watch or clock.
Although no special materials are needed for Mixing in Math, incentives are always a great way to promote a new program. Below are ideas for incentives to use as part of Mixing in Math kick-off or as a way to reward sites that take the lead on implementing Mixing in Math. All of these materials can be used with Mixing in Math activities.
